POSTCAST: Playing SPOILER, Brett Baty SLAMS Mets Past Rangers

Continuing their role of spoiler, the New York Mets have won the first two games of this series from the Texas Rangers, winning tonight 7-2.

Marcus Semien had the go-ahead homer inn the 8th against his former team, but it was Brett Baty's pinch-hit grand slam that slammed the door shut.

In his final start of the 2026 season, Nolan McLean earned win number 12 of the year with 7 innings of 2 run ball with 5 strikeouts. Tonight also marked the return of Devin Williams to the mound, as he threw a scoreless 8th inning with a strikeout.

Tomorrow will be Zac Thornton's turn to finish of his rookie season, as he starts tomorrow afternoon with the Mets going for a sweep.

POSTCAST host Chris Schubert breaks down ALL the action from tonight's game.
