Mrs. GREEN APPLE Talks "Brand New" From 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' Phase 3 and "Inferno"

Mrs. GREEN APPLE join us for the first time ever to discuss entering Phase 3 of their career, writing “Brand New,” the Japanese theme song for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. The trio — made up of Motoki Ohmori, Hiloto Wakai, and Ryoka Fujisawa — reflect on the journey from being friends in school to becoming one of the country's biggest bands, why they divide their career into distinct "phases," and the creative freedom that's driving this new era.

We also dive into the deeply personal meaning behind “lulu,” Motoki Ohmori's role as the creative force behind their music, visuals and live shows, their process, and why (their incredible) fashion has become another language for expressing who they are. Along the way, we discuss the story behind “Inferno,” the theme tune for manga series ‘Fire Force,’ their ambitions beyond Japan, makeup on men, the story behind their name and so much more.
