MISTAKE?: Chargers OC Mike McDaniel off to BRUTAL Start | Was this Experiment a Bad Idea?

Los Angeles Chargers’ offensive woes spark doubts about Mike McDaniel’s hiring. Is it a coaching misfire or simply growing pains for Justin Herbert and a struggling receiving corps? Daniel Wade and David Droegemeier debate whether the Chargers can salvage their season after back-to-back sloppy performances and a misfiring playbook, raising the question: was there really a better coordinator option available after Greg Roman?

Key topics include the struggles of Trey Harris and Quentin Johnston, the impact of missing game-changing receivers like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in the McDaniel offense, and the likelihood of the Chargers exploring a wide receiver trade. The conversation also tackles the team’s fit for McDaniel’s modern scheme, the pressure on Herbert to adjust, and the mounting urgency ahead of a critical matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Can the Chargers offense find its rhythm in time, or is a major shakeup ahead?
