RUMORS: Knicks STILL Pursuing Backup Centers + John Konchar Is GONE

New York Knicks eye Moussa Cissé as a potential game-changing backup center, reigniting hopes for added frontcourt depth before the season tips off. Could a last-minute cut from the Dallas Mavericks reshape the Knicks’ rotation, or will contract hurdles keep Cissé out of reach? Gavin Schall breaks down the Knicks’ latest trade rumors, exploring how Miles McBride’s contract and value could play into New York’s pursuit of another big man.

Josh Hart’s lingering finger injury sparks fresh concerns about his shooting and long-term impact, while debate heats up over whether the Knicks should prioritize keeping McBride or extend Hart’s contract amid looming cap decisions.

Additional topics include John Konchar’s surprise exit from training camp, the search for reserve centers like Mo Diabate and Karlo Maktovic, and how new signings Tyler Nickel and Kevin McCullar Jr. could influence the rotation. Are the Knicks prepared for the challenges ahead as real games return?
