On September 23, a federal panel votes on the ABA's power over law schools. This week, the University of Austin and the Federalist Society announced a law program that will never seek ABA accreditation. The panel weighs the Education Department staff's recommendation to stop recognizing the ABA as a law school accreditor. Texas and Florida already cut the ABA out of their bar rules this year.
