Sutton and Shearer. Heskey and Owen. Yeboah and Masinga.
The history of football is dominated by great duos who elevated and transformed the game...
With that in mind, welcome to Footballing Hell... where the duo you know and love undo all that heritage with their footballing knowledge, as every Monday Rob and Josh discuss the weekends football (or the bits that interest them) in the only way they know how.
Chaotically, with not enough sleep, prep or insight...
Why football? Why now? We hear you ask...
“Finally we can bring our unique brand of unprofessionalism, distractedness and inability to get things right to the until now slick and professional world of football pods. Get ready for no tactical analysis, zero discussion of VAR and a surprisingly high level of Neil Warnock chat. For people who find other football pods too informed.”
- Josh Widdicombe
"After 6 years of discussing my wife and children on Parenting Hell it's such a liberating feeling to finally have a podcast where I chat about something I truly love and care about in football"
- Rob Beckett
In the first ever episode we discuss...
Plymouth versus Exeter
The Milk Cup / What is Caribou? / Neil Warnock's hair / Community shield (one of us didn't watch it) / What’s the sexy Nigerian Gk been up to? / Predictions for the season including who will win what cups and finish where? /
