DUAL-THREAT: Boston College’s Mason McKenzie IMPRESSES With Best Game Yet in Tough Loss to SMU

Boston College finds their quarterback as Mason McKenzie flashes dual-threat brilliance despite a tough loss to SMU. Can the Eagles build on his progress and fix lingering issues before ACC play intensifies?

AJ Black and Mike Sidley break down McKenzie's breakout performance, highlighting his strong pocket throws, smart rushing, and the leadership he brings to the field. The conversation also spotlights BC’s defensive dominance under Ted Roof, shutting down SMU’s high-powered offense with fierce tackling and creative pressure. But persistent woes along the offensive line, costly penalties, and missed opportunities at wide receiver and tight end leave big questions for the bye week. Will BC’s coaching staff make bold changes to ignite a turnaround before facing Miami and Notre Dame?
