Want Boston College’s Offense to Improve? Benching Mason McKenzie Isn’t the Answer....Yet

Boston College faces a critical quarterback dilemma: should Mason McKenzie be benched after shaky red zone performance, or is the offense’s best chance to ride out his development? AJ Black breaks down the Eagles’ offensive woes, McKenzie’s rushing advantage versus passing accuracy, and why switching to Grayson Wilson or Femi Babalola may backfire, especially ahead of a challenging matchup with Virginia Tech.

With standout transfer Brandon Benjamin making waves in practice and fresh faces like JB Frankel and Andrija Bukumovic drawing high praise, could this deep, energized roster finally end the Eagles’ NCAA tournament drought? AJ Black highlights Murray’s detail-oriented approach, the impact of NIL and portal moves, and the call for fans to pack Conte Forum in a potentially historic year.
