ACC SQUAD - The CHAOTIC Brendan Sorsby situation | How it impacts NC State

Texas Tech storms into the spotlight as college football’s ultimate villain following the Brendan Sorsby gambling injunction. With Sorsby facing only a two-game suspension despite over 9,000 bets—including wagers against his own Indiana Hoosiers—ACC experts question whether the NCAA still has any authority and if the integrity of the sport is at risk. Is this the moment the SEC and Big Ten finally seize the initiative to form a Super League, or will Texas Tech’s actions ignite overdue reforms? The ACC Squad breaks down Texas Tech’s polarizing defense of Sorsby and billionaire booster Cody Campbell’s powerful influence over the Red Raiders. Heated debates spotlight SMU’s history with the NCAA, the fallout for schools refusing to schedule Texas Tech, and the mounting controversy around eligibility and rule enforcement in college football. Where does the sport go from here as money and chaos threaten its future?
