AMERICA: A Christian Nation? | The Second Great Awakening: Expansion (1789-1848)

In this special summer series, Pastor Sam Rainer walks through six eras of American history and explains the church’s impact in each era. As America expanded in the late 1700s and into the 1800s, Christians moved with the people. Methodist circuit riders preached the gospel, and Baptists planted churches. The church’s mission traveled west.
