Trinidad Chambliss vs. Missouri & The SEC's Biggest Games | Locked On Bets

Most game-day previews treat Ole Miss-Missouri as the only game that matters today. That's the wrong line. The SEC slate around it shapes Ole Miss's playoff path, including Texas-Florida with Ole Miss's next opponent. In Oxford, Ole Miss has won 14 straight at home and is 38-3 there since 2021, per the Ole Miss game notes, and Missouri gave up 31 points in its last road game, at Mississippi State.

Today, Missouri. Seven days to Texas.

Steven Willis brings in Locked On Bets to handicap the biggest games of the day: Mississippi State-LSU, Texas-Florida, Kentucky at Oklahoma, Alabama at Tennessee and Ole Miss vs. Missouri, plus one game outside the SEC. Every pick in this episode is Locked On Bets', not the show's.

📌 THREE THINGS

1. The Ole Miss call. Locked On Bets is taking Ole Miss against Missouri, pointing to the 52-point bounce-back at Vanderbilt, Kewan Lacy's second game back, and a Missouri defense that gave up 31 at Mississippi State in its last road game. It also says Missouri hasn't played in an atmosphere like Oxford all season. Ole Miss has won 14 straight at home, per the Ole Miss game notes.

2. Texas-Florida matters for next week. Ole Miss goes to Austin in seven days, and Locked On Bets is taking Florida with the points, calling it a bad revenge spot for Texas. Steven's read on the Longhorns: they have "a low-key bad offense problem at the moment," so "whoever they're playing against is probably going to be in the game."

3. The rest of the slate, all Locked On Bets' calls: LSU over Mississippi State whether or not Kamario Taylor plays; Kentucky with the points at Oklahoma, riding Kentucky's momentum; Alabama on the road at Tennessee; and Florida State to stay within the number at Miami. Steven's aside: Ole Miss-Missouri "should be the ABC game."
