PREDICTION: Utah Mammoth Prospects SET the Pace — Will Caleb Desnoyers DOMINATE Next Steps?

Utah Mammoth chart a bold course for the 2026 NHL Entry Draft with a fresh look at their draft strategy, prospect pipeline, and organizational needs. Tom Callahan and Robyn Leaño spotlight Utah’s 19th overall first-round pick, break down the significance of holding their own firsts amid offer sheet rumors, and analyze the impact of recent entry-level contracts for Yegor Borikov and Gregor Biber.

Which young prospects are poised to make the leap? The discussion focuses on defensemen like Maveric Lamoureux and Dmitri Simashev, power forward potential from names such as Lawson Crouse, and a call for more physicality and “mean streak” up front. The hosts question whether Utah needs a game-changing pest, a true power forward, or both to elevate their playoff ambitions. With key veterans’ futures uncertain and hungry prospects knocking, will Utah Mammoth reshape their roster identity this summer?
