In Today's Episode
My CFO worked for free for four years for our company. He did not wait for success to be handed to him, he stepped up and volunteered for what other men would not do, and today he has the life he deserves because responsibility is not given, it is taken..
In this Wednesday episode, we are diving deep into the Legacy Code and breaking down why the weight you choose to carry on purpose is the only thing that builds a name worth remembering. The world wants you to travel light, avoid pain, and live only for yourself, but a comfortable man builds absolutely nothing.I am laying out the four pillars of the Legacy Code that I live by and that you need to start executing:
Pick up the weight: Responsibility is not given, it is taken. Stop being avoidant and volunteer for the hard jobs other men run from.
Commit past the feeling: True commitment only starts when your motivation dies. I remember when Jeremy and I were building our business and he had to tell me that he could not pay me this week. We did not quit when we ran out of money, we committed past the feeling because that is when real commitment begins.
Suffer on purpose: Choose the hard road while it is still a choice. Do not wait until your family is in peril or your life falls apart to finally activate.
Build what outlives you: Plant the trees you will never sit under. Legacy is love with a long term horizon.
Tomorrow, we are turning this code into a daily execution plan
