Pause before you react: The moment friction hits—whether someone cuts you off in traffic or a business deal falls through—take a deep breath and create space between the event and your response.
Audit your judgments: When you feel anger or anxiety rising, immediately ask yourself: Is this within my control, or am I suffering over a story in my head?
Turn friction into fuel: Treat every inconvenience, delay, or insult as a weight in the mental gym meant to test and strengthen your emotional discipline.
Practice daily presence: Stay grounded in the current moment instead of rehearsing worst-case scenarios for a future that hasn't even happened.
Nightly mind audit: Before you lay your head down, ask yourself the hard truth: Did I rule my mind today, or did I let the world run me?
