Join me as I interview Sasha Boggs about her horror comedy called Women. Think Mean Girls meets The Evil Dead. Ten women. One Austin bar. A bachelorette party held together by tequila, fake compliments, and years of unresolved resentment. As the night spirals out of control, passive aggression turns primal. Then the blood starts flowing. WOMEN is a horror comedy about female social dynamics, performative friendship, jealousy, and status games. Inspired by real conversations and real people, the film blends overlapping ensemble comedy with stylized violence and practical gore effects. We had a blast talking about her history with the horror genre, the inspirations of Women, their goals and what they tend to accomplish. Hope you enjoy this in-depth conversation about the project.
