Grief is not evidence of weak faith. It’s evidence that we have loved. As we enter a week marked by the anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s assassination and the remembrance of 9/11, I want to talk about what Scripture actually says about sorrow. Jesus wept. God draws near to the brokenhearted. And Christians are never asked to pretend that loss doesn’t hurt.
Today, we’re talking about making room for grief without losing our hope, remembering that because of Jesus, death does not get the final word.
