Projecting the Buffalo Bills’ 2026 Rookie Roles — Talking Buffalo

Patrick Moran evaluates the Buffalo Bills’ entire 2026 rookie class following eight training camp practices. Which rookies are ready to contribute immediately, who needs more development and which undrafted players could force their way onto the final roster?

Patrick explains why second-round edge rusher T.J. Parker has experienced a quiet summer and could begin the season fourth in the defensive-end rotation. He also examines the uneven camp of cornerback Davison Igbinosun, whose physical coverage ability comes with concerns about penalties and consistency.

Among the most encouraging rookies, offensive tackle Jude Bowry has emerged as a potential swing tackle, while linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr has looked capable of competing for a starting role. Patrick believes Elarms-Orr could ultimately become the defining player from Buffalo’s 2026 draft class.

The episode also covers the development of wide receiver Skyler Bell, the long-term potential of safety Jalon Kilgore and the projected roles of Zane Durant, Toriano Pride Jr., Tommy Doman Jr. and Ar’maj Reed-Adams. Undrafted rookies Kani Walker and Jackson Acker are also discussed as players facing important preseason roster battles.

Patrick begins the show by revisiting his experience at the new Highmark Stadium and explaining why he’s choosing to reserve judgment on reported seating concerns until more information becomes available.
