Richard Allen Appeal. What Really Happened in Court | Profiling Evil

The #RichardAllen appeal hearing was one of the most intense court sessions I’ve watched for some time. It should take us too far from keeping #AbbyWilliams #LibbyGerman #Delphi in the forefront, but it is the present news. At times, it sounded like the judges already made up their minds as they pressed the prosecution and defense over Allen’s confessions and whether they were voluntary? Was the jury get deprived of critical evidence, and did investigators ignore leads that pointed to someone else entirely? This video walks through my thoughts on the hearing, the arguments, pressure points, and the moments where the courtroom seemed to shift. This video includes video from the actual hearing and I’m not taking sides either way. I hope this helps you better understand whether justice was done and whether the verdict can be trusted. I know the families of Libby and Abby and I know how hard this is for them to continue to have to revisit the crime, yet I’m so proud of them for being in that courtroom. Regardless of where you land regarding Richard Allen, they deserve your upmost respect.
