On this episode of Have a Seat with Chris Hansen, Chris has a candid conversation with Kristi Goncalves, mother of Kaylee Goncalves, one of the victims in the Idaho college student murders. Kristi reveals new details on the case, her thoughts on the investigation, the plea deal and the still remaining unanswered questions. The two also discuss that while the court proceedings are over, the family still continues to be the victim of online trolls, hateful comments, and subjected to the release of crime scene photos. But through tragedy comes strength in family and faith and new-found advocacy with the newly created Kaylee Goncalves Foundation: Murder Has a Name and the recently passed law banning crime scene photos in the state of Idaho to be released to anyone other than the victims family.
