Yuma Students Invited to Design America 250 Poster

The City of Yuma is inviting local students in kindergarten through 12th grade to create artwork for a poster that will represent Yuma in the Freedom 250 City Art Poster Project. Organized by the U.S. Conference of Mayors and the National Endowment for the Arts, the project commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Participating cities will select posters inspired by their communities. Students are encouraged to draw inspiration from Yuma’s history, the people and places that shape the community, and their hopes for its future.
