Prescott Valley Police Share Ways to Help Prevent Crime

Send us a text and chime in!

National Crime Prevention Month, observed every October, raises awareness about personal safety and community vigilance. The Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) is committed to reducing crime and the fear of crime. We offer many programs to assist our residents.

• Schedule a crime prevention presentation for your community, church group, or neighborhood block watch, or attend one already scheduled. Our highly trained specialists are ready to give you the tools to avoid falling victim to frauds and scams.
• Band together with some of your neighbors and create your own block watch group. Neighbors looking out for their neighborhood is a powerful crime fighting tool.
• Become one of our Dog Walker Watch volunteers to be community eyes and ears while taking your fur baby out for a walk.

Prescott Valley consistently ranks among the top safest cities in Arizona. This is due to the commitment to excellence our police officers have in serving our community coupled with the amazing partnerships we have within our communities in tackling crime head on. Together, we make an effective team.
