Two-and-a-half-month-old Londyn Gonzalez was born healthy, but within weeks, her pediatrician noticed something concerning: she was losing weight instead of gaining it.

Her parents, Luis Gonzalez Jr. and Kitrina Udrea, were given specific instructions about what Londyn needed and were scheduled to return so doctors could keep monitoring her.
