Are the Oklahoma Sooners FINALLY Getting Healthy? | Brent Venables Drops Positive Update

Oklahoma Sooners fans get a crucial injury update as optimism grows around Michael Fasusi’s return, while questions linger about the availability of Eli Bowen, Eddy Pierre-Louis, and Jacobe Johnson ahead of a tough clash with Kentucky. John Williams and Jay Smith dissect Brent Venables and Ben Arbuckle’s recent press conference, spotlighting Michael Fasusi’s leadership, the emergence of Lloyd Avant, and the impact of depth at cornerback—including standout performances from Trystan Haynes and Dakoda Fields.

The hosts break down Oklahoma’s improved defensive metrics, the ongoing challenge of balancing physical practices with player health, and the offense’s need for more explosiveness from Jonathan Hatton and Elijah Thomas. Expectations rise as the Sooners prepare to face Kentucky’s formidable offensive line and take stock of their SEC Championship Game prospects. Can Oklahoma capitalize on its new-found depth and keep the momentum rolling against a surging Kentucky program?
