In this episode, we’re joined by Steve Ferrigno of the Mansfield Downtown Partnership to talk all things Downtown Storrs—where it’s been, where it’s headed, and why it continues to grow as a hub for the UConn community and beyond.

Steve shares his background and role with the Mansfield Downtown Partnership, then dives into the growth and development in the area over the past few years, along with a look ahead at what’s coming next. We also break down the impact UConn plays on Downtown Storrs, especially on gamedays, and how that energy supports local businesses.

Plus, Steve explains how the popular gameday shuttle came to be and how it works. To wrap it up, we talk about upcoming events and initiatives designed to keep people excited and engaged year-round—not just during basketball season.
