“They preached God to us”

Christianity’s center of gravity has shifted dramatically toward the Global South, and African missionaries are increasingly bringing the gospel to Europe, Canada, and the United States. Their work reflects both the growth of Christianity abroad and the spiritual decline of much of the West. But receiving missionaries from nations once viewed primarily as mission fields may require Western Christians to confront assumptions about where God is working—and whether we are humble enough to join him.
