All About That Bass #593 — The Mike Herrera Podcast

My first bass was Peavey T-40 and my latest bass guitar is the Orange Creamsicle. The Mike Herrera Artist Series StingRay is instantly recognizable — a bass shaped by decades on the road with MxPx. Mike Herrera brings his signature style to the classic StingRay with passive electronics, simplified controls, a color-matched headstock, and a custom Pokinatcha pickguard. Available now!

Switching from playing with my fingers to a flat pick revealed!

MXPX vs. Tumbledown Album Prep. - A Comparison.

Did we make it? Was there a time where we knew I wouldn't have to work at day job? Never crossed my mind. I knew I would never have a day job as soon as I started touring. And it had nothing to do with money.

I never thought about the future other than making and performing music. Is that naïve? Yes. But I think that's what it takes sometimes to just keep going no matter what.
