Fresh off the book’s debut and a rare two-part podcast interview with Clarence Thomas, Cruz explains why he believes Thomas’s personal journey, intellectual evolution, and judicial legacy matter today. From growing up in poverty in Pinpoint, Georgia, to becoming a Supreme Court justice, Thomas’s life story is central to Cruz’s argument that Americans should better understand the people who shape the nation’s laws and institutions.
