The annual De Valera Day commemoration takes place in Ennis this Sunday, (27th September), marking the life and legacy of one of the most significant figures in modern Irish history, Éamon de Valera.
The event will include a wreath-laying by members of the de Valera family, a presentation, and an address by Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
To discuss the commemoration and de Valera’s legacy, Alan Morrissey was joined by PRO of the De Valera Commemoration Committee, Michael McTigue and Chair of Clare Fianna Fáil, Mary Crawford.
