Fuel prices, carbon tax and the wider cost-of-living crisis were to the fore at a public meeting in Moate last night, attended by people from across the country, including farmers, hauliers and business owners.
The meeting was organised by those involved in April’s fuel protests, with organisers warning that people could return to the roads if the Government doesn’t act.
Cathal O’Donoghue, of C&C Executive Travel in Clare, was at last night’s meeting and was also involved in the April protests.
