TARGET: Jordan Kyrou Could ELEVATE New York Islanders Out of Goal Scoring and Power Play SLUMP

The New York Islanders reignite trade buzz as Jordan Kyrou emerges as a prime target to boost their ailing offense. Could Kyrou's goal-scoring and speed make the Islanders legitimate Stanley Cup contenders, or will cap constraints and a potential bidding war with teams like the Edmonton Oilers shut down the deal? Gil Martin breaks down the Islanders’ postseason hopes, dissecting Kyrou’s fit alongside Mathew Barzal and why acquiring a proven finisher is crucial for the team’s power play revival.

Key discussion points include possible trade packages involving prospects like Danny Nelson, draft strategies with a spotlight on defenseman Ryan Lin, and the challenges facing New York’s front office under Mathieu Darche. Gil also examines the Islanders’ latest signings, answers a burning fan question about fixing the power play, and spotlights former Islander Mathieu Schneider for his birthday. Can the Islanders find the missing piece to their top six and finally climb from fringe playoff status?

All this and more on today's Locked On Islanders Podcast with Gil Martin.
