Kansas Jayhawks Battle 17-Game Losing Streak vs Kansas State Wildcats | SUNFLOWER SHOWDOWN PREVIEW

Kansas State Wildcats look to defend their 17-game Sunflower Showdown streak—can the Kansas Jayhawks finally end the drought? Christian Rauh and Derek Johnson break down the high-stakes clash, spotlighting the struggles of Collin Klein’s first year as Kansas State head coach and Lance Leipold’s quest to secure a critical rivalry win. With both teams desperate for a Big 12 victory, bowl eligibility and in-state recruiting implications hang in the balance.

Key storylines include Dylan Edwards’ homecoming as he aims to exploit Kansas State’s beleaguered run defense, Avery Johnson’s dual-threat potential for the Wildcats, and whether Kansas quarterback Isaiah Marshall can avoid costly turnovers. The conversation covers recent defensive woes, explosive plays, the vital role of special teams, and the mounting pressure on each sideline. Will Kansas State’s dominance continue, or does Kansas pull off a program-altering upset in Manhattan?
