KANSAS HAS INTEREST in All-ACC STUD Malik Reneau | Jayhawks Transfer Portal Target Deep Dive

Kansas Jayhawks target Malik Reneau could reshape the Big 12 power dynamic if the NCAA grants him another year. First-team All-ACC selection and former Miami and Indiana standout, Reneau averaged 19 points and 6.5 rebounds, flashing elite efficiency and all-around playmaking—raising questions: Can Kansas land this high-impact big amid scholarship constraints and tough NIL bids from Miami and Virginia?

Derek Johnson breaks down Reneau’s strengths, including his post scoring, improved 3-point shooting, and strong on-off metrics, while assessing fit alongside Keanu Dawes and KU’s frontcourt rotation. Johnson also covers Kansas basketball's latest recruiting swings—highlighting setbacks with Antonio Pemberton’s decision, but celebrating KU women's hoops landing 4-star wing Kawehi Borden and KU volleyball’s winning streak. Can Bill Self’s squad secure a late addition and keep pace in the evolving recruiting landscape?
